Documentation and Legalities:
- Have necessary ownership documents ready for transfer.
Province-Specific Requirements:
Ontario: Provide the Used Vehicle Information Package (UVIP) and a Safety Standards Certificate if needed.
Quebec: Optionally provide a history report from the SAAQ and be prepared to visit the SAAQ for ownership transfer.
British Columbia: Complete the Transfer/Tax Form (APV9T).
Alberta: Create a detailed Bill of Sale with all pertinent details.
Saskatchewan: If required, provide a Saskatchewan Vehicle Inspection Certificate (SVIC) and a comprehensive Bill of Sale.
Manitoba: Provide a Safety Standards Certificate if needed and a Bill of Sale.
Finalizing the Sale:
